Is the new RAM of the same type that you currently use.???

http://www.memtest86.com/
Memory(RAM), test program for downloading
--------------------
Right click My Computer,
Properties,
Advanced tab,
Settings button (Startup and Recovery),
uncheck Automatically Restart.

Now you should get an error message when it happens again.
