A Description of the Safe Mode Boot Options in Windows XP
See if Windows Safe-Mode works, then do this--
Right click My Computer,
Properties,
Advanced tab,
Settings button (Starup and Recovery),
uncheck Automatically Restart.

Now you should get an error message when it happens again.

I thought it would give you something like
0x000000C6:
for a Stop Code. Then you could have looked for,
and click on C6.

Maybe the jumper on the Storage drive is set improperly, or should be removed totally ??
