Hi, every so often im having trouble starting up my PC. The situation is is that when i push the on button instead of it loading up i get an orange light where a green light should be on the front of my desktop. Also my screen remains on stanby. I dont know if its related but my PC completely freezes somtimes. However it does load back up afterwards. I've run a deep virus scan, used the malwarebytes pragram as well as the ccleaner. Unfortunately none have worked. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Hi, my windows XP is not loading on my dell inspirion 600m laptop. I was working on it the night before just fine online and then signed off, didn't turn the computer off and when I tried to sign on in the morning and it went to a blue screen with the following error (also took forever to loading) below typed exactly as it is shown to me. Also if you are able to help with this and I can do something on my own that would be great or if you think it can possibly be fixed

Mostly on Desktop computers----
DUST collects inside computers, and can cause hardware
damage, overheating, faulty fans, faulty drives
Is yours clean.????
^^^ Some pictures ^^^

Possible that the harddrive is not running at its normal speed,
freezing up or slowing down. Or has quit.
My computer took 20 min. to boot the other day.
I was watching the HDD activity indicator light,
and it would remain on, and not rapidly blinking.
Mechanical devices do have problems.

Harddrive manufacturers have software for download for testing HDD.

I dont get a blue screen. My monitor just remains on standby and my desktop runs but nothing happens. Like i said before i just get an orange light where a green one should be. I dont know whether it it could be a faulty switch or something more serious.

Hi chuck2. Ive opened up the case and cleaned all inside. It has been a lot worse than it is now but had no problems.
