Please help my printer is all connected to my pc properly as it will print of documents ect. but when i go to scan and save a document to my pc i keep getting this message. The computer cannot detect scanner or camera. Please make sure the device is turned on and is properly connected. I have ran a diagnostic test on my scanner and it say it is all connected and working fine but it still is not scanning. Please help i am totaly baffled on this now.
I don't believe getting latest driver from the manufacturer will help address a known bug in your copy of Windows XP. You need to either try to get the hotfix from HERE or just upgrade your copy of XP to Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3 that has it.
What did you in chronological order - give us the date you did windows update, the date you uninstalled Norton, the date you installed AVG - speaking of NAV it sometimes cause problems after a user thought he removed it completely.
ok i done everything on same day that was the 17th may i un installed norton first followed all the directions as it told me to. Then i installed avg. after running the first optimising scan i then done my windows update
