650 Duron Processor, Win XP, ATI Radeon 64DDR VIVO graphics card, 256mb RAM. PC is freezing constantly, started in Win 2000, carried on through to XP after upgrade but worse. Started on .avi/.mpg's first, then mp3's, now everything .. seems not to like doing more than one thing at once ! Have changed graphics card but no difference. Any ideas ? It's driving me nuts ! Thanks !
Just wondering do you have a via southbridge chipset if so try updating those drivers. New 4 in 1 drivers may help.

Have you checked your CPU cooling fan ? Is the CPU overheating ? Adjusting video settings in the BIOS may help. At worst, your BIOS chip may need a flash update.
