pc freeze

CPU/Ram: AMD 2000+

Hello my computer was freezing on my computer (playing games or heavy program) so i took out the hard drive and put it on my friends computer and put it on as a secondry. but when i load it from his computer it also freeze. does this mean that the hard drive is broken. if so can anyone tell me some good hard drives out there. looking for IDE.

Could be hard drive, could just be a software problem on the drive. Hard to tell with the info you gave.

AMD 2000+
512 Mb DDR
CD-Rom
NO Floppy
XP PRO
readoen 9200 se AGP 4X
gard drive = MAXTOR 2B02H01
