Hi

I have a very strange problem that nobody has been able to assist me with.

When I start up my pc my start up page displays normally (Windws XP with flag) then when it switches over the users and Windows itself the screen flips onto its side.

That is the background pic, the icons and the taskbar which then runs on the right handside from the bottom up to the top with everything on its side, same if I go into Outlook Express, Internet Explorer etc.

I have run all the anti-virus scans, anti-spam, redid my registry etc. etc. etc. but nothing works I've got 2 G of memory left but my PC also seems slower.

Can anyone please assist me with this and please don't suggest that I turn my monitor on its side :-)))))

Hope someone can assist me with this.

Thanks

Tish

Tish, Try pressing the Ctrl and the Alt keys on your keyboard together with either the up and down or right left arrow key at the same time to rotate the screen.
If you have a NVidia video card, look in Control Panel>>NVidia Nview
Desktop Manager for the rotate settings under NV Rotate.

To disable rotation, right click the Intel Extreme Graphics icon on the taskbar, select Graphics Options, then Graphics Properties. Click on the rotation tab and remove the tick from the enable rotation box.

Alternatively it can be accessed from Display Properties - Settings - Advanced - Intel Extreme Graphics - Graphics Properties.
