This computer cannot get on the internet in only one network I take it to another network and internet works fine.
I can send and recieve data accross the network but no internet. It is plugged into a switch that another pc is plugged into that pc is on the net just fine gateways match and server address matches. I can ping the server ok. It is on a T-1. When I put this pc in this office it worked just fine. We unplugged it and didn't use it for about a month hooked everything back up and no internet. I can take it to another office with a similar network and it works fine. I have tried different cables, directly into the wall port I just formatted and reinstalled the OS and it still cannot access internet. Any help would be great

Here is what I understand about your problem:
1. The computer can access the internet on other networks.
2. The computer cannot access the internet on the particular network that you want to plug it into.
3. There are other computers on this network that can access the internet.
Check that the computer's internet settings are set to connect over the LAN and to obtain DNS information from your provider automatically. (via Internet Explorer -> Internet Options)
Also, make sure that the gateway computer is sharing it's internet connection.
Finally, make sure there are no more than 10 computers connecting to the gateway. No more than 10 are allowed for Windows XP.

internet. So the Gateway is sharing. I can take the other pc on this switch off the network and I still cannot access the internet with this PC so the 10 computers accessing gateway issue is not the the cause either.
Any other ideas?
Thanks for your interest in my problem.
