Specs: Windows XP SP2 / SP3
WHEN PLAING GAME OR HEAVY APPLICATION ON AUS M2N-MX-SE PLUS M/B (AMD ATHLON 5200+ AM2 / 2GB DDR2/ 160GB SATA HDD) PC TURN-OFF AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 30 TO 60 MINUTES. IF I PRESS POWER BUTTON TO START IT AGAIN THEN IT AGAIN TURN-OFF IN 30 SECONDS. IF I REMAIN IT POWER OFF FOR 10 TO 15 MIN. AND PRESS POWER BUTTON AGAIN THEN IT CAN BOOT SUCCESSFULY AND I CAN USE IT AGAIN FOR 30-60 MIN. IF I USED MSI MAKE MOTHERBOARD ON THE SAME SETUP (MSI M/B HAVING SAME CHIPSET AS ASUS) EVERYTHING SHOULD WORK FINE. I TESTED FOR 6-8 HOURS ON MSI M/B AND IT WORKS FINE. I M A HARDWARE VENDOR AND SUPPLIED 7 M/Bs TO DIFFERENT LOCATION & ALL HAVING SAME PROBLEM. I TRIED DIFFERENT MAKE SMPS (450-600W) BUT UNABLE TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE.

Printing in all capitals is like yelling at some one face to face. I don't like being yelled at, so maybe you will edit this post and use a proper way to write it..To me and others all capital letters in certain fonts is dificult to read as well.

It sounds as though the CPU is over heating and the safety features in place are causing the automatic shut down. The immediate shutdown after the reboot would most likely be because the CPU has not yet had a chance to cool.

You might try removing the heat sink, scraping off the manufacturers heat transfer compound, putting on some fresh, and reseating the sink.

If it is possible, you need to find in the BIOS where it is displaying your CPU temperature and monitor that to see if this is the problem.
