passwording shared folders

i am running windows xp pro and 98se. i need to share two folders(one on 98 comp, one on xp comp). both need to be password protected and not accessable to other users on the network unless they supply the correct password. how can i accomplish this goal?

mherber2, there're several ways to do what you want. Probably the easiest is to simply zip the folder. That way, you can assign a PW and those who don't have it see giberish while the rest (whom you've shared with) can manipulate the folder.
