I recently located an old file inside a zipped folder that someone I knew put in. The file is just a simple .txt document but it is password protected. The person that put it there does not know the password. I cannot extract the file from the zipped folder without the password. Is there any way of getting the password or somehow opening the file??

u may want to contact the company that p[roduced the software and they may be able to provide you with a geberic password that may be the only way. you have be to carefule with passwords Hope that helps
