Is there any things or software in Window xp that can protect your admin account to change into user account by other admin?

Because my mum has change one of the admin to user, and we are scared that we will get change by her. Anything to protect my account from this??

Way to go, MOM! Offhand, the only thing I can think of is a preemptive attack on your mother's account; change it to a super-limited not-allowed-to-use-anything account while you still have admin privileges. You may have to create another admin account before you can demote your mom, but you can delete it afterwards.

Of course, your mother may decide to take it out on you later.

I believe that these user account settings are save as certain files on the computer and all the admin has the privilege to edit it by default. now, if you can identify the file and the folder which it is located, then you can use the access right setter, as I call it, to change the right for certain users so that they can't access the folder, providing they don't know how to use this thing. it comes with winxp and is called "cacls" and it can be found in the windows directory (or is it system32?) use it from command window, do not to be in its directory.
