I am responsible for maintaining a handicap program at our golf course. We are running XP Pro. The only way to exit the handicap software is to press ctrl-alt-del and select end task. That is fine, but I would like to password protect ctrl-alt-del to stop people from exiting the program and messing up other computer settings. How do I do this? Many thanks.

You must remap the ctrl keys to another key; it only works for win2000/XP/NT.
Here is the microsoft's page about this.
Scan Code Mapper for WindowsAn here is a good page explaining how to do this.

Thanks for the links. I was hoping to find a way to password protect the ctrl-alt-del function rather than disable it ... or did I mis-read the intent of the information you provided. I'm a little concerned about undertaking the remapping that is suggested. I was hoping for an "easy" solution such as setting a password somehow ... but will try to do this if there is no other option. Thanks for taking the time to help me.

This software has Ctrl+Alt+Del blocking and more, also offers a free Evaluation before you buy, perhaps this is a better option for your needs:

Hi LU89 ... sorry for the delay in thanking you for the lead to Full Control. (I've been away for a few weeks) ... Will check it out. Thanks.
