My computer is requiring my password everytime the screen saver comes on. It never did that before and I am really unsure how it happened. I have the option set for no password out of standby in the properties/screen saver/power menu you get to by right clicking on the desktop, but this has not stopped it. the box that comes up to enter the password in says "Windows XP" I just can not figure out how to disable it.

That is what I have tried already. The box is not checked. Also it does not return me to the welcome screen, its a box that comes up asking for the password. at the top of the box it says Windows xp.

The password requirement may be appearing because of a setting for your screen saver.
RIGHT click on a blank area of you desktop screen, choose Properties (goes to Display Properties) - click on the Screen Saver tab. If you have a screen saver enabled, make sure there is nothing in the box beside On resume, password protect. If there is, click on it to remove it.
