Have Packard Bell P4 1.5mhz 40g drive - just brought. Trying to partition in 4. Came with XP loaded on system on non dos partition. Used built in prog to make master cd,s which then automaticaly freed non dos partition and had one partition with extra space. Now I fdisk and create pimary partition c. and can create logical dos drives d. e. f. in extended partition. I can format c. and d. but cannot access e. f. I believe it,s because boot diskette create,s virtual ram drive on e. with required boot files and won,t let me access e. and f. Rang Packard Bell no joy advised me against partitioning - christ who wont,s one 40g drive. Any help would be much appreciated have spent last 4 nights trying to resolve. A very tired Baz!
