Please Help...My computer had some major issues such as a System.ini error and a msgsrv32 error on start up that would pop up before I could log on to my name. then when I would log on, it would just freeze and when I pressed control, alt, delete, there would be nothing (practicly nothing in the box)... so in desperation to try and save this computer i tried to create a partition and was going to download windows XP in dos mode...though I couldnt really get to dos mode. Anyhow, I created this partition, which deleted my whole hard drive, including my operating system (windows 98 plus)...I am trying to install windows xp with no operating system currently in place...is this possible??? PLease Help!!!

Yes just put the win xp cdrom in the tray and reboot. IT should ask if you want to boot from CD say yes and follow the directions from there it very easy. If it doesnt recognize the disk when u reboot you have to go into your setup in bios and change the boot order to boot from cd
