I recently bought a Kingston U3 Data Traveler 2Gb Flash Drive. I managed to remove the U3 software, and now it works fine as a normal usb drive. What i want to do is to partition it so that I can use Truecrypt to encrypt a smaller partition, and use the majority of the drive as normal, unencrypted storage. I have been searching for a couple days so far, and have'nt found any answers. I have tried Partition Magic 8.0 by Powerquest, and that apparently dosen't recognize External Flash drives. Does anyone know a good program that can partition usb flash drives - or even if there is some DOS command that I dont know?

Try Partition Commander. I don’t know if it will work for you, but it’s worth a try.

Just tried it, but it was the same situation as Partition magic - it also only detected my HDD (i checked it w/ other usb flash drives as well so i know it is'nt just the type of usb key that isnt compatible)

win xp can recognise only one partition. It will be useless to divide to many partitions, except you have linux OS.
You can use linux "fdisk" to manage your usb partition.

Does not WinXP's Disk Management tool allow you to do it?
