Ok, well when I first got the manifest parse error problem I tried the fix listed here. I replaced controls.man and re-burned the cd. I verified that it burned correctly (yep, it did) and then when I attempted continue install it got to the very end of finalizing install and gave me another fatal error. "SXS.DLL manifest parse error on 'D:/I386/ASMS/WINDOWS/MSFT/COMMON/CONTROLS/CONTROLS.MAN' on line 0." which is very similar to the first error, but the sxs.dll part is new. Can someone help me? Do I need to delete a file on hdd from original attempt? How can I fix this? Thanks for yer help.
