Click the Start button, R-Click on "My Computer", when the menu comes up, click Manage. When the Computer Management window opens, look for Disk Management under the Storage branch. It will look quite like Disk administrator for NT, if you are familiar with that.

right click MY COMPUTER, then click MANAGE. click DISK MANAGEMENT. in the lower, right hand window you should see disk 0, with UNALLOCATED space. right click it, and click create partition. follow the Wizard.
