i have win me installed,i read that i could install win xp pro in a different directory like c:/windows001

my question is..how do i use win xp after the install

1st You should have enough disk space (winxp home needs 2 gigabytes)
2nd Just install it (I think you must do a "Clean Install" in order to keep both installed"). Then when you boot your PC you will see a menu (pretty much like the Win9x Safe mode one) where you may choose the Os you want to run. Once in Windows Xp you may customize the time you want this menu to display until choosing the default OS to run, and even not to show it (you could run winme pressing F8 if you do that)
