hey,
I recently formatted my computer, and had taken backup of the important date. Now, today i turned on my Palm Zire 31 to realize that all the contacts have been deleted, along w/ the third party software. My question is where are the vcard files saved on the computer when you add a contact in the '' palm desktop '' program given w/ the PDA? so i can recover them and resync them..?

If you did a backup of the drive then the data ought to be there. Depends on where you (if) you saved or installed the palm connection. You can browse the backup and restore the data to the original place or what might be better to a new location. Then move that data to the correct place that has your current install.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
