Hi,

My page file usage is approx 600mb, when I open outlook it takes 4 mins! I have only 200 itmes in my inbox and after it's open the PF usage goes up to 1.8GB!!! I have got the latest AdAware and updated it but with no effect. I've looked in Msconfig too much there is nothing out of place. Any ideas?

Cheers,

-Mike

That does seem odd. The "standard" according to Microsoft is to use 1.5x your installed RAM as the max if you are manually setting the size of your page file - but who knows what the Windows operating system will use as the max.

It may not be anything to worry about though. Could be that your Outlook store file is very large and is causign this. Do you have a lot of items in your Sent folder? What about attachments? What is the size of your Outlook store folder?
