My problem is exactly the same as a topic I read about earlier.
My scanner once worked(above)once worked fine, using Windows XP. But now, since having pressed the scan button, it no longers wishes to work. I've tried it in Ulead Photo Express, then it worked once, but then the program froze.
Please help me. I'm not sure what to do, I have rang the Dixons group to try and obtain their help, but they are at a loss to. I cannot reach www.packardbell.co.uk.

i have an identical problem trying to use the Packard Bell Diamond 1200 Plus in Windows XP on a P. Bell Pentium 4 bought as a package from PC World. It did work at first and occasionally still springs to life, but most of the time it displays the message 'Waiting for Scanner' indefinitely. I have tried to scan with Photoshop and the Scanner and Camera Wizard, tried reinstalling drivers etc. nothing. Can't find anything on the internet to answer it. PC World are s***e on phone lines transferring me to 'PC services' who give me a number which isn't in use which they insist is working ?B-(. Sorry to rant but its really getting on my tits. Anyone help?
