OK i am haveing a problem i have sound but a lack of it, i here some but not all of any sound played. like the shutdown for winxp pro plays but its all destoted, and i cant here voices in my Mp3s. I have instaled the drivers that ECS gave me from there site(i lost my oringal drivers disk) and i still dont have proper sound can someone help me?? Thank you.

I have the same board(processor too). I havn't had quite that same problem with the sound, but something of that sort. I think its a problem with WinXP and the Driver. It keeps uninstalling mine.

Well for some reason its working i restarted my comp and then it just stated working. IDN WTF happned but at least its working. I lost my mainboard Cd not 2 long after i got my baord and at the ECS webpage there are no drivers listed for P4S5A/DX+. I dont know if you have found the right link but i can only find drivers for the P4S5A/DX and P4S5A. got any ideas? Your Driver problem might be because you are useing the rong driver XP likes 2 do that 2 me 2.
