Specs: Windows XP, 2g dual
Hello, im new to overclocking... In my bios, i have many overclocking options. I currently have these specs.

p4 3.0
asus p4p800 motherboard
radeon x1950
2g ram
2 sata HD.

I currently did a quick overclocking in my bios by 10%. So now i am flying p4 3.3ghz. I have an option to go to 20% or 30% overclock. However when i do 20% over my windows doesnt load correctly so i am force to run at 10%. I have meny other options to overclock in the bios but i am a bit confused what to do. I can even change the 10% to manual and do manaul settings.

Can anyone help me by any chance? Should i post pictures of all the bios options i can find?

Thanks ahead of time.

Maybe you should ask in the CPU/OVERCLOCKING forum since your question has basically nothing to do with this forum's focus. There are OC enthusiasts there who will no doubt be able to advise you. Understand that there are limits to overclocking since what you are doing is driving your hardware harder/faster than it is designed/rated to perform. Get it wrong and you can fry your system. The increases should be looked at in steps of 1% or 2% at a time not 10/20%

Ask Richard59 stated, you should be asking in the overclocking forum. But just to give you a hint, you should NOT be overclocking by using the ASUS AI Overclock Tuner. "True" overclocking is done by carefully selecting the right setting for the FSB, RAM, voltages, RAM timings, etc. No "one-click" method can do all that.
