Comment: Hi...At home I use Outlook to access my email, but Outlook Express at school. At home I can only view my email and not save it to my hard drive. At school I can save? Is there some setting where I can save 'copies' of my email at home, but still be able to save them at school also??? Thanks in advance for all input.

Reply: (edit)so by save do mean that when you click file/save as you cannot save it or it isnt staying in your inbox or what? there is a setting to leave a copy of the mail on the mail server in both outlook and OE but i dont think this is the issue

Reply: (edit)the only way to do it would be to make sure that BOTH pcs are setup with the 'leave copy of the mail on the server' checked and then after you pull the mail down on both pc's, delete it from the server. It is going to be a pain, you might consider saving the mail from the file menu to a txt/html/etc file. what type of mail are you connecting to (who is your ISP) as there may be other issues to consider based on what type of mail server you get your mail from. The easiest things may be to see if they offer a webaccess mail account and just check it that way from all locations.

Reply: (edit)Thanks Again, Mike. I teach at the University of Kansas, and my ISP is through the university. I will try the options you gave me. :-)
