When I try to compose a new message or reply to an e-mail using Outlook Web Access (OWA) the Message Field (control/object) is missing. I see a frame with a red cross in it - the same as when an image is not displayed on a website. What is wrong?

Try clearing your cache [Temporary Internet Files] and cookies, as old files may be interfering with the display. Also, make sure your using IE, and OWA is not standards compliant and requires IE for most functions to work properly. I think IE may require ver 5 on up.

Thanks. I tried this and it didn't work.
I'm wondering if I need to register a DLL. Does anyone know which file this might be. (I suppose I need to check that I have it at all.)

You may try a "Repair" option when removing IE from Add/Remove programs, or try downloading updates. Another thing may be the security options in IE. Did you or anyone else try adjusting them? If not, go to Internet Options -> Security and try using the Default Level button so change them back to default.
