I have a problem where my Outlook takes l5 minutes to load every morning when I come in to work. I am using Outlook 2007. Ive tried disabling all the services on the startup, I close out Outlook before I leave for the day correctly (File>Exit) and I only receive approximately 10 emails during my downtime. Any suggestions or ideas? Ive also tried installing any available patches and updates.

Which system or windows are u using? If it's in win xp then, start>run>msconfig then press enter. then from start tab check out all out all tik related with outlook express. Better u can uninstall it from add remove windows components.
If u want an email Clint like outlook the use thunderbird. Its very easy to use.

Are you running an Exchange Server at the office? If so, try enabling Offline Folders.

Yes we are running Exchange. I'll try both suggestions and thank you both.

Just ignore response #2 as far as Outlook Express and changing to Thunderbird. Even if you wanted to switch, it's not an option with Exchange. Do you have Outlook set to run at Startup? What other programs are starting up when you login? Have you checked with your Exchange Admin? You could also use Outlook Web Access if your Admin allows it.

Ive disabled all services upon startup via msconfig. All other Office apps opens up fine but Outlook. I do have access to OWA but would also like Outlook to function normally. Thanks.

It's not the Services you need to check. It's the items listed in the Startup tab. What other programs start automatically? Does Outlook start automatically?
