hey there, anyone ever run across this problem with outlook 2000? i configure it for internet mail but outlook will not remember the password for some reason. so i put in the userid and password and click on remember password, but every time i go back into account settings the password field is blank and remember password is still check-marked. weird! thanks for your time. aldo

I had that problem a very long time ago, actually in Windows 95 and Outlook Express. It took a reinstall of Internet Explorer and Outlook Express to fix it. Nothing else seemed to work for me at all.

That is not correct. There is a registry key that holds your password in OL2000. Go to - http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;Q275465
