Hi everyone,
I am currently using Outlook Express to check all my emails, and I am thinking of changing it to Outlook 2003.
Does anyone know if all the settings that I have set for my Outlook Express will remain the same if I install Outlook 2003 ?? This includes email, accounts, passwords, etc.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
--ORLANDO
P.S. If the settings are changed, is there any program around that could help me keep all of these?

outlook 2003 on the first start detects your outlook express and then just imports all your mail settings (except the passwords, u have to enter them yourself), contacts and messages.
Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'

Ok, so after that I should uninstall Outlook Express ? Or the installer will make that by itself ?

I don't recommend trying to uninstall Outlook Express due to how "intrinsic" it is to the O/S. You can always delete the messages and compact the databases ... that will save HD space.
Do consider that some of the "simple" operations in OE are much more complicated in Outlook. I personally prefer OE as an email client for that reason. If you don't need the calendar features and other "bloat" of the full product, I'd recommend doing a test drive before you make a final decision. Just my opinion...

If you attempt to uninstall Outlook Express, Outlook won't function.
Run Outlook and then close it. Open Outlook Express and do a File Export. Then select Outlook. Very simple.
