Outlook Express takes long to load.

Recently Outlook Express is taking extremly long to load, my folders are reather empty.. .and I don't have many mails. Any ideas why? Thanks for the help...

sometimes uninstalling msn messenger causes this problem.

DW, thank you but that does not seem to apply to me as I am using XP. Regarding the first reply, i disabled MSN to run in the background, should I enable this again? Thanks

Yea that applys to IE I am having the same problem on another pc with outlook express. I did a disk cleanup and defrag a few times and now the outlook opens right up but still takes forever to do anything wont respond period for about 2-4 minutes this is only on one account .The other account works fine.The truobled account also does not have listed under options the ability to not allow the messenger to run and the messenger wont open up.I have deleted and recreated this account 2 times with different names and pictures but it is always the same?

hmmm.... i guess installing MSN Messenger again would helP?
