Comment:

when I start Outlook Express 6.0 my AOL instant messenger versiom 5.9 starts. This began after I installed AIM 6.0. The install resulted in two Icons for AIM - the old and a new on for AIM 6.0. It is the AIM 5.9 that starts when I run OE.

I have searched the registry for the keywords "AIM" and "MSIMN.EXE" and found nothing of interest. Ive looked at the targets in the desktop shortcut and AIM does not appear in the OE shortcut.

Anyone know if there is a way to stop this behaviour? Is there a forum for AIM users I haven't found one. Thanks for any help.
