IS there a way to set OE to send an email at a specific time and date. I would like to send an email that will have a specific timestamp when I will be away from my computer.

In a roundabout way, yes I think so. Set OE to start in your schedueled tasks at the required time, and make sure it is set to do a Send/Receive on opening. Should work.

faster, better, MORE!!
