December 12, 2012 at 09:31:50
Specs: Windows XP

When I try sending an email the login window pops up, and when I enter my username and password, I get the screen telling me they don't match. I have contacted ATT and changed my password, and set up a new account in Outlook, but still no success. I do get my mail thru att/yahoo, but cant get outlook to work for me.

AT&T and Yahoo are two totally different entities and have nothing to do with each other. So who is your email provider, AT&T or Yahoo?

And which email client are you using Outlook or Outlook Express?

Try a different email application. There's a free one called Mozilla Thunderbird here:

if you prefer to stick with Outlook Express, make sure the latest service pack for Windows XP is installed (Service pack 3). If it isn't installed, go here using only Internet Explorer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389

Hi Curtis,
As I think, you are suffering with inaccessibility issues. Please check the status of Your DBX file of Outlook Express.
