A few days ago I noticed a message that pops up when I close out OE. It says "To free up disc space, Outlook Express can compact messages,. This may take up to a few minutes." I can't seem to make it go away, I tried looking in different tabs in Options, but nothing seems to address it, any suggestions? And my HD is no where near being full.

It is offering to Compress all your Messages in the Message Store Folder - rather like Defragging but just that one Folder

It does it every 100 closes of OE

Just say OK and let it do its thing

Thanks, I guess it's come up before but I didn't remember it so I didn't know if I should let it or not.
