Hi, I just did a complete reinstall and upgraded from sp1 to sp2. So far so good with a few minor exceptions. The first one I will address is in outlook express. I have lost the icons in the tool bar that were, delete, send/receive, create, address book, etc. All that shows there is a box with a dropdown, and the icon for my nod32 antivirus. The missing icons appear briefly when opening or closing outlook express. Since I switched to nod32 and sp2 at the same time I am not sure which one is the cause, but am suspecting sp2. Bluejay

I have just fired OE 6.0 for the first time for in months, when you first open it there are buttons missing.
If you click on Local Folder / Inbox then they all appear.
You can right mouse click on the toolbar and select Customize and you can add or delete buttons...

I tried that already. I may not have been clear enough. The area above the grey line that says inbox and below file edit view etc. is where I am refering to (tool bar correct?) It is blank except for my nod32 icon and a dropdown box to it's left. The icons briefly appear when I open or close outlook express.

Right beside "File" at the very left of the screen should be a vertical line. Right-click on that and click "Toolbar"
Life's more painless for the brainless.

Hi, Toolbar is already selected. Did you catch the part in my post that the items appear briefly upon opening and closing outlook express? That's what's wierd. UPDATE Just set up a second user account and for the time being it is also an admin acct but I did not setup anything in outlook express but most of the icons show up there. Bluejay
