Hi
I am kind of stuck.I just got a new Dell 4600 PC running WinXP replacing a Compaq Presario 5240 running win98se. I have Comcast HighSpeed for my ISP.My wife and I have 4 email accounts set up with Comcast all running through Outlook Express 6.0.
How do I take all the info that was on the Compaq and transfer it to the Dell. I thought since it was through my ISP that all the info (messages, addresses ...) would just be on the new PC, but when I open Outlook Express there is no info prom the old PC and it wants me to set up all the accounts as new.
I'm not a newbie, but FAR from an expert, so can someone give me or link me to explicit directions on how to get all my mail info from my old PC to my new one. Please.
The old PC is not connected to any internet now-I don't know if that matters.
Thanks so much
Mark

The easiest way to do it should be with Windows XP's Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. (Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Files and Settings Transfer Wizard) It'd be easiest if you had the two computers hooked up through a network or something similar, but it should also be able to be done using floppy discs. Just start and go through the wizard in Windows XP, and it'll guide you through what to do, making the disc to run the wizard on your older computer.
