Hi
On 2nd September, I emailed 5 people at a forum (using my outlook express), requesting assistance with a driver and software for a digital camera. The 5 emails were sent from my main email address (my main identity in outlook express) and since that date, each time i open my main email address (main identity) in outlook express, it says "receiving 1 of 3 messages" with the moving blue arrow but no mail is received and not even part of the message is received. I have waited up to 1 hour for these 3 message but nothing is received. I was able to access the 3 emails using my ISP's web-based email facility without a problem and would like to know why i cannot receive these emails under my main email address in outlook express, which is my main identity. I am able to receive and send emails fine in my other identities, except for my main email identity. Should I change some settings Outlook Express to allow these 3 messages to be received? I did not make any changes to my outlook express settings prior to the sending of these 5 emails to peoples email addresses at the forum.
Your comments would be welcome asap.
Thanks
Danny

check your pop3 settings
Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

Delete the settings for that email address in OE and set it up again. I've had settings in OE corrupted a couple of times. I couldn't see anything wrong with them, but re-entering everything fixed the problem.

Another thing to try is emptying out the inbox and then deleting the inbox file. Exit OE and it will be rebuilt when restarted.
