Hi Liam, hello everyone

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\
{xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}\Microsoft\Outlook Express.

The x's are different chacacters for each computer.

You can also check the location of the storage folder from within OE.

Select Tools and Options.

Select the Maintenance tab.

Click on Store Folder.

Best Regards,
Mesich

Hi Liam, hello everyone

I am not certain.

When you browse to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\
is there more than 1 set of numbers/characters there?

Best Regards,
Mesich

Hi Liam, hello everyone

Do a search, and in the box under
All or Part of a File Name: type .dbx.

Does it find any of the .dbx files?

If so what location are they in?

Best Regards,
Mesich

Hi Liam, hello everyone,

I completely forgot that the Local Settings folder is Hidden.

Open the Documents and Settings Folder.

Click on Tools and Folder Options.

Select the View tab.

Place a check next to Show Hidden Files and Folders.

Click on Apply.

You should now be able to view the Local Settings folder.

Best Regards,
Mesich
