Dear group:

When I compose an Outlook Express email message I notice the tool buttons are gone. When I go to view > toolbars I see that 'standard buttons' is checked. To get them back I have to uncheck 'standard buttons' and then recheck 'standard buttons.'

Why do I have to do this every time I am creating a new Outlook Express message?

Thanks!

kerry

Sounds like a refresh error of some sort.

Not sure, but my best guess would say it is related to corrupt outlook express software or bad registry entry dealing with outlook express.

What I would try first is backup outlook express stuff. Then reinstall it. Then get all the windows updates for outlook express, see if that helps.
