Hey,
Hopefully someone can help me out with this one. I'm using Outlook Express to send/receive e-mail, and yesterday, upon starting it up, I found that all of my saved and new messages in -every- folder had -blank- message bodies. The subject line and sender information is all there - as well as the size of the e-mail, details, message source, etc - it's the actual text or attachments that are invisible. Pre-existing Messages that i've -forwarded- to other e-mail accounts show up blank as well. Can anyone offer a suggestion? My computer is virus free, i'm not out of Memory, and anything else I can think of is not an issue. I'm desperate - as there are messages that I need to retrieve for work over the weekend, but cannot!I was also told to try putting regsvr32 inetcomm.dll in the start run but it never solved my proplem....
Thanks for any input.- Regards,
Melissa

That's one user's solution.
If you hit reply, does the text appear? If you try to highlight as if the text were there, do you see it?
How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.

I opened Outlook Express with the intention of blocking the
email message from showing.
At the top Tools - Options - Read Tab - I unchecked
(you will need to Check Mark) Automatically download message when viewing in the Review Pane
Click APPLY at the bottom.
-----------------------------------
With Read Mail open = Starting at the top
File under that
Create Mail and under that make the selection -
Show all Messages.
Close Outlook Express and re open it.
You have to be on the Internet for mail to be downloaded.
That's the closest I can come to create your problem or solving it.
-------------------------------------------------------------
You can download Widows Live Mail
Maybe your mail will show up their, It's the latter
version of Outlook Express.
