Hi and thanks for reading. In the last week or so when i have been getting emails with a media file attachment it wont play. However it copies itself straight to the desktop and plays fine. Is there some type of default setting that can be restored. Thankyou

What is the attachment type? What type of media file?? What are the last three letters of this media attachment??
Three questions that mean we need more info.

Hi. I am not very techy but here goes. The attachments are WMV. files or MP3. files. Just basic types of small movies or sound files. They get sent with normal emails. One thing i will mention that i just remembered that could help is that i downloaded the windows update for Internet Explorer 8 which, now i think about it, co-incided with the "glitch". Does that help at all. Thanks for helping terri.
