Hi!

After I set up my outlook express for a yahoo email account and I do a send/receive I receive a Windows Security login window:
Username:
Password

When I enter my Yahoo mail user name and password and click OK then the window just reappears. I noticed that the logon reappears after it is done authenticating.

I've verified the settings on the Servers and Advanced tabs within the Microsoft Mail account set-up are correct

When I change the settings to not require authentication I recieve the following error message:

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'marniemarnn@yahoo.com'. Subject 'Thank you', Account: 'Personal', Server: 'plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '530 authentication required - for help go to http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/... Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 530, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

Also I am using my blackberry as a dial up connection.

I've done so many searches and can't seem to find any answers. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know!

Thank You!

Just as a safety tip, you should not post your e-mail address in a public forum such as this.
