Hello there,

I'm having a small problem with Outlook Express. Every time I send a message, no matter what address it's sent to, I receive the following error message:

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'riojsafety@cox.net'. Subject 'Re: Got your letter + EMC problems', Account: 'pop.west.cox.net', Server: 'smtp.west.cox.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 Invalid recipient: <riojsafety@cox.net>', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I've deleted this old address from my address book, but it OE express seems to be set up on automatic somehow.

I'd appreciate your help, thx!

It's not your addresses that are screwy it's your account settings.....

From the above your using SSL on port 25....that is very not like I've ever saw anywhere else. Server error is 550 CONNECTION REFUSED. So your server will NOT TALK TO you.

Discuss this with cox technical support, I'm sure they can fix your OE settings.
