Ì have a big problem. I have an account by hotmail. When I want to check my mail with outlook express 6 of WindowsXP he waits a long time with checking and he's give an error that there is a fallied error. I hope somebody can help my, If you are dutch, please mail in dutch. My english is not so good..

These type of errors usually occur when a person is using an internet cable! If you are using an internet cable, you will not be able to check hotmail mail with outlook express! If you are using a dial-up connection, your speed may not be good! I am a computer expert, please tell me your internet speed so that i can solve your problem!

I have an MSN account . I get errors all the time when using outlook express and MSN wich is the same as hotmail. I still get my mail also get errors. I think they are still in BETA (testing) . My local ISP has never failed me and they are cheaper.And never any errors from thier account I think it is probably a microsoft problem.

I use Outlook Express on XP to get my Hotmail with no problems (on a cable modem as well). The only errors I've had are due to the server not being available. I did have some consistent problems awhile ago, which was solved by recreating the account..
I would suggest re-setting up the account: First, go into the Tools/Accounts.../Mail, select the hotmail account, and remove. Restart OE, then create a new hotmail account (Tools/Account/Add.../Mail)...
