Im in the middle of a similar problem.....except now my OutExp (XP) won't send anything..it still receives..and is directly connected to the ADSL/Modem Router. The aio I have running some old version of WinME sends like a dream - and it is connected wirelessly.
What I've tried: updated virus scans, uninstalling multiple packages, tried a restore point but they expire (that's stupid, I was away for 3 weeks), deleting the Hotmail account and restoring it, turning off virus scanning and Norton security, cleaning up the registry with a purchased tool, and some more things I haven't thought of...still working on it.

I have the same problem with my emails. In my outlook program I go to tools, email accounts then change existing account. I click on one of my accounts, click change and then test account settings. I click close then x out that screen. It’s good to send one email. I usually already have the email written and waiting to be sent. I have to do this every time. Hope this helps.

It is a better idea to delete the account and make a new account instead of changing it. Just changing it makes it just good for one mail sending operation.
You may like trying the above out...maybe it works
Rajiv

Within Outlook, go into Tools\Accounts. Highlight your account and click properties. In the "properties" window, click the "servers" tab.
Incoming and outgoing use DIFFERENT servers. Contact your ISP and they will give you the correct ones.
That should fix it.

my outlook express won't send or delete email..it will receive however. This only occurs on one web site...Iwon.com. Of course it's where I receive most of my mail. Anyone with any suggestion or clue what's happening?
