Outlook email notification

When a user recieves a new email, instead of the email notification appearing in the middle of the screen, it is just appearing minimised at the bottom of the screen. Any help rectifying this problem would be much appreciated, Thanks!

Open Outlook, choose Options under Tools menu.
Click the Email Options button.
Check the box that states "Display a notification when new mail arrives."

I do have this option ticked, it's just that when the notification 'New Mail has arrived. Would you like to read it now?' appears, it appears minimised at the bottom of the screen instead of in the middle of the screen in front of the other programs.
