Occasionally I receive emails with attachments that can't be seen or accessed. There is no paperclip symbol next to the subject but the size of the email indicates an attachment is present and I know that the send put one on. The sender of the email cc's themselves and is able to receive the attachment.

The information line (From: To: Subject: CC: etc..) on the email I receive does not show an attachment either but the size of the email indicates that something should be there. Is there any way to access the attachment? I've looked around and can't find an attachments folder for outlook. This does not happen to all my emails becasue I am able to access the attachments from other emails that other users send. Any ideas?

Hi Zandago

It may be that your ISP is preventing some attachments from being received because of security issues.
A lot of ISP will not allow EXE or COM attachments through.
Ask your sender to resend the attachment as a ZIP file.

Also, the missing attachment could be a virus, and a good ISP will have security in place to detect that, and prevent the receipt of the attachment.
