Hello out there!
My question is about ms outlook and creating pst files and loading them back into a users new email box. I am completely successful at getting the pst file into the users new email account and when I open the pst file it creates a second set of sections(inbox, sent items, calendar, contacts... etc...) Now I tell the offline folders to synchronize and that seems to work, I copy over the users old contacts into the new contacts, that works, but with the calendar is where I have the problem, if I drag and drop the calendar from the old email to the new one it creats a sub folder under calendar called calendar! So I delete that and copy the calendar folder to the main folder of the users new email, now it creates calendar1 and there is no way to delete calendar. So the users new calendar is actually calendar1. Does anyone know how to copy the calendar from the users old email into the new section without creating a subfolder or a new folder(calendar1)???

Thanks for any help

I will bee as clearly as I can bee.
hmhm.

before u open outlook:
1. right click the outlook icon.
2. properties
3. on the tab "Servises" add a account and the personal folder (*.pst)
4. on the delivery tab set the delivery location to the PST
5. Click OK

If u don't do this outlook will create an emty pst file in "C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\".

all contacts must be ok AND all the rules will bee also.
AND no dubble inboxes.

Hope U could follow?
