Anyone else ever see this.....

For some reason when I click a link in a message Outlook 2003 now opens a Save dialog box that is always titled "L". The file name is always blank and the file type is always set to *.exe.

I'm using XP Pro with Outlook 2003 and have FireFox .8 as my default browser. This combo always worked fine until I switched my default browser to Opera 7.5 Beta 1 and then back to FireFox .8. I'm under the impression this might be related but I'm not sure how or why. Anyone have any ideas or run into this before?

I had problems when swapping from Firebird to Firefox.

Try uninstalling Firefox (and any traces of Opera etc.), then re-installing Firefox.
